From 62c8a2120ccac94b7151410d872907ce17eb5c1a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Doxa Maps Date: Tue, 29 Sep 2026 13:27:13 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] The first-run superuser URL itself reaches the terminal, not only the lines around it PocketBase's link is /_/#/pbinstall/ (two l's). The forward rule matched \bpbinstal\b, which cannot match 'pbinstall', so the terminal showed 'Launch the URL below' with no URL below it (repo, testing live with PocketBase 0.40.4). The rule is now pbinstall?, tested on the line as PocketBase prints it rather than on a guessed spelling: the instruction, the URL and the CLI alternative are shown, the banner and dashboard URL stay quiet. --- internal/backend-dev-plugin.mjs | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/internal/backend-dev-plugin.mjs b/internal/backend-dev-plugin.mjs index 20cd7eaf0..b1ad5554b 100644 --- a/internal/backend-dev-plugin.mjs +++ b/internal/backend-dev-plugin.mjs @@ -163,7 +163,7 @@ function start(root, b, logger, restarts = 0) { const sink = createWriteStream(resolve(logDir, `${b.name}.log`), { flags: 'a' }) // The first-run "create your first superuser" link is forwarded too: it is a step a person must take, // and the HOWTO's admin screen at /api/pb/_/ is unusable on a fresh .pb without it. - const LOUD = /\b(error|fail(ed|ure)?|panic|fatal|warn(ing)?|refused|denied|in use|cannot|unable|superuser|pbinstal)\b/i + const LOUD = /\b(error|fail(ed|ure)?|panic|fatal|warn(ing)?|refused|denied|in use|cannot|unable|superuser|pbinstall?)\b/i const out = (d) => { sink.write(d) String(d).trim().split('\n').forEach((l) => l && LOUD.test(l) && entry.logger.info(`${tag} ${l}`))
