Outside the maps folder, the two hidden pages and the three maps, the site is upstream's again: the card styles, the embeddables' legend and the devtools setting are restored, the laptop notes and the embed test page are removed, and DX-MAPS-GALLERY.md is the guide to what this branch changes.
The regions index, the region and country pages, their map and the /regions and /countries rules are the same as upstream again; the map slot no longer carries the country-map bundle they no longer use.
- The laptop guide clones from <repository-url> instead of a private host, and states what the
Deep Research page is now (a full-page app with a "Back to homepage" button) and the link text
under the research map ("Deep Research app").
- The two-route laptop guide speaks of a shared server instead of a team's, and no longer names
where an outside checker lives.
- The 1040-maps .gitignore drops a line for a local tool folder; the SemanticTreeLegend header
describes the clone in plain terms.

/posterverse mounts the Posterverse shell (<posterverse-app>) from the site's own /dx-maps tree as a
full-page app with no site header, the same way /deep-research mounts the Research Gallery. It is in no
menu and not indexed; ?tab=<row id> opens one plugin. The site's language drives the shell's, and the
shell's "Back to homepage" leads to this site's home in the reader's language.

of People Groups pans and zooms with the pointer, one to one. Country Posters draws every country

The page passes the homepage address and label to the gallery (home-href, home-label), and the
gallery draws "Back to homepage" the same size as Collapse, directly above it: at the top of the
drawer on a phone, mirrored in a right-to-left language, in the site's own words. The 40px bar
above the gallery goes, so the gallery fills the whole screen and the page still never scrolls.
It needs the dx-maps tree at 939db5b6c or later, which carries the rail link.

folds on every map, an open legend sheet has a grab lip, a drag that starts on the pin hint no longer
scrolls the page, and the people-group popup fits its box. Poster walls: the last poster's open menus
sit above the next section. Gospel Resources and Cities with Internet: the legend sits above the map
controls.

The site keeps room for a scrollbar on every page (scrollbar-gutter: stable in base/_globals.scss).
This page never scrolls, so on a desktop with classic scrollbars that room showed as an empty
15px strip at the right edge (measured at 1440: the bar and the gallery were 1425 wide). The page
sets scrollbar-gutter: auto on <html> while it is shown, keyed to its own element like its other
page-level rules; every other page keeps the site's rule.

The prayer wheel turns so Praise is at the top, with a "Start here". Point 4 is Mark 5:18-20 with
verse 19 in bold, and the twelve prayer points fit on one page, in all 11 locales. The lightweight
worksheet now shows every group's photo and short description, as the full one does.

Under "Want Deeper Research?", the arrow link to the Deep Research page now reads "Deep Research
app", in all 11 locales. The key replaces "See our Deep-Research Maps", which nothing else used.
The hideFooter page flag existed only for Deep Research (no other page sets it), and Deep Research
now renders without a layout. app/layouts/default.vue is again identical to upstream master fc4d622.
The page renders without the site layout, so there is no header and no footer: the gallery fills
the screen below one 40px bar. The bar's home link goes to the homepage in the reader's language.
It sits above the gallery, not over it, so it covers none of the gallery's or a map's controls
(on a desktop it is right above the rail's Collapse; on a phone, above the open menu), and it
mirrors in a right-to-left language. The page never scrolls: the bar and the gallery are exactly
100svh together, and only the gallery's own panes scroll.
With no layout, the page sets its own lang and dir, as the public layout does for every other
page, and its two page-level rules (no body margin, no page scroll) are keyed to its own element,
so no other page changes. The header's hide-on-scroll code goes with the header.

Regions header's ⓘ becomes a rounded square beside a rounded-square Share, as in Big Picture, and
follows the dark theme as Share does; its pointer keeps the 1200px rule, so in a tab's top strip
it no longer covers the view switcher. The map print's progress card drops its English phase text,
and its progress bar honours reduced motion. UPG-100's map area stacks as one layer, so the menu
circle stays above its legend.

The header hides while the gallery's content is scrolled down and returns at its top. Switching
tabs hides the old tab's pane (or removes its map) without any scroll event, so after scrolling a
tab down and switching to a map-only tab (Prayer Progress, Cities with Internet, Gospel Resources
on a phone) the header stayed hidden, and nothing on that tab could bring it back. The page now
remembers which scroller hid the header; when a change in the gallery hides or removes it, the
header returns. The new tab starts with the header shown, and if it scrolls, the next scroll hides
it again.
dx-life measured with a real finger: on the Regions map the header stayed. Regions scrolls
in its own containers (.rd-scroll, .rl-scroll) inside its own shadow root, and scroll events
never cross a shadow root, so the gallery-level listener never saw them. Touch and wheel
events do cross: on the first one over such a scroller, the page finds it in the event's
composed path and listens to its scrolls directly (once each), which also covers momentum.
The same half-the-gallery size rule keeps small lists, such as a legend sheet's, out.
The cloud dev server sets it so the devtools overlay does not sit on a phone during testing.
Unset, devtools stays on as before; devtools never ships in a production build.
The Driver, reviewing on a phone: on /deep-research the site header stayed while every other
page lets it scroll away, and the "Want Deeper Research?" line under the research map was far
too big.
/deep-research keeps the verified layout at rest: the page does not scroll, the header shows,
and the gallery fills the rest of the screen, its bottom menu button included. The gallery
scrolls inside its own main pane, so a finger or a wheel over it never moves the page. Once
that pane is scrolled down a little, <html> gets rg-header-hidden: the header hides and the
gallery takes the whole screen (100svh). Back at the pane's top, the header returns. One
scroller, so nothing fights its momentum. A capture-phase scroll listener on the gallery's
shadow root sees the pane; only a scroller at least half the gallery's height counts. Measured
with a real finger at 390: the map (703 px) and the open sheet (211 px) never resize, and the
header hides once and returns once.
/research: the line is 1.2rem, the size of the homepage's "Explore our research maps" link.
